June has arrived, marking the perfect time for you to embark on exciting adventures exploring the beautiful landscapes of Vietnam. Especially after postponing trips due to the Covid pandemic, it's time to indulge in travel experiences. If you're wondering where to travel in June, let Vntrip guide you to find the most suitable destinations.
1. Best Places to Visit in the North in June
1.1. Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh is the first must-visit destination in the North that you shouldn't miss this summer. Actually, whenever you visit Ninh Binh throughout the year, you'll be enchanted by the natural beauty here with numerous lakes, caves, mountains, conservation areas, and more. However, based on Vntrip's experience, early June is the best time to visit Ninh Binh when the golden hues of ripe rice fields stand out against the green mountains, creating a picturesque scene.

Among them, Tam Coc - Bich Dong is one of the most famous attractions in Ninh Binh in June. Here, you can take a boat ride along the river, passing through limestone mountains to admire the rice fields on both sides of the river, cycling around the roads, or conquering steep mountain peaks. Especially from above, you'll be mesmerized by the sight of the winding Ngo Dong River flowing through layers of golden ripe rice fields, occasionally interspersed with green rice paddies, and glimpses of farmers harvesting ripe rice.

And of course, don't forget to visit Trang An to immerse yourself in a land of mountains and water, where the sky blends with the clouds. This place boasts 31 lakes and ponds connected by 48 caves, each with its own unique characteristics as their names suggest. The caves are adorned with various stalactites, and the cool air flowing from the cave ceilings creates a refreshing atmosphere. Underwater, hundreds of thousands of water ferns create a scene resembling a flower forest.

1.2. Moc Chau
If you're looking for the perfect getaway to escape the heat, Moc Chau is the ideal destination. Leaving Hanoi and arriving in Hoa Binh's Mai Chau valley already feels different, and when you reach Moc Chau, you'll feel even more comfortable. There may still be sunshine, sometimes even intense around 1-3 pm, but Moc Chau and Van Ho bring you a refreshing, comfortable feeling, not stuffy and sweltering like other places.

On the vast Moc Chau plateau, every summer, the fruit that comes to mind first is plums. From around May to the end of June, when you visit Moc Chau, you'll sense the gentle fragrance of ripe plums spreading through the air. Moc Chau plums are small, purple, crisp, slightly sour, and easy to eat. Places where you can experience plum picking include: Na Ka Plum Valley, On Village, Ba Phach. But the most popular is Na Ka. The current price for plums at the orchard is 15K/kg.

Besides the ripe plum season, the tea hills in Moc Chau in June are quite interesting with lush green stretches. The tea in Moc Chau is beautifully grown, both in arrangement and in how they are harvested evenly, with the most common being heart-shaped tea hills and S-shaped tea hills. Take the time to wander on the blooming tea hills, admire the blue sky in the breeze from above to enjoy the peaceful feeling in the space of the wind-scented countryside.
