Despite the nascent development of 5G networks, smartphones equipped with this lightning-fast internet technology are already on the market.

Oppo Reno 5G
Reno introduces Oppo's latest smartphone line. In Vietnam, Reno is available in two versions: standard and 10x Zoom. However, the third model - Reno 5G - made its debut during Viettel's first 5G service trial. Reno stands out as a premium smartphone with its attention-grabbing design, featuring a pop-up shark-fin selfie camera, enabling a fully panoramic borderless display.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G
Despite not being officially available in Vietnam like the Galaxy S10/S10+/S10e, the S10 5G has appeared in the market through 'parallel imports'. This version of the S10 boasts the largest display (6.7 inches) and the most cameras: 4 lenses on the rear and 3 on the front. While offering 5G support, the specifications of the device remain similar to the S10 with a Snapdragon 855 chip paired with 8GB of RAM. The battery capacity is pushed to 4,500mAh, 400mAh more than the S10+.

LG V50 ThinQ 5G
Similar to the S10 5G, the V50 ThinQ 5G is available in Vietnam through 'parallel imports' with an initial price of 18 million dong. The device inherits many features from the V40 such as design and the triple rear camera setup, but it comes with a larger 4,000mAh battery and a more powerful Snapdragon 855 chip with an efficient cooling system. LG offers a solution to expand the display space with a pre-installed screen case. When attached, the V50 transforms into a dual-screen phone, usable for separate tasks or together.

OnePlus 7 Pro
Coming from China, this smartphone is acclaimed as the most powerful Android device in the first half of 2019. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, QHD+ resolution, HDR10+ color display similar to the Galaxy S10+, and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Additionally, the device features a triple rear camera setup, a 'pop-up' front camera, runs on the Snapdragon 855 chip, with a maximum of 12GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 4,000mAh battery supporting fast charging with 5V/6A input. In Vietnam, the OnePlus 7 Pro 4G version is being sold for over 16 million dong but the 5G variant is not yet available.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G
Despite being available since the end of last year, the Mi Mix 3 5G version is still considered the best 5G phone at MWC 2019. Xiaomi integrates the latest Snapdragon 855 processor for its 5G phone, with a thin edge-to-edge display on all sides by hiding the rear selfie camera in a sliding mechanism. The Chinese manufacturer has improved the cooling system and the battery capacity to 3,800mAh.
