(Thethaovanhoa) - As the Pre-Season update rolls out, the pet feature is set to bring forth a plethora of unique jungle champions.
The publisher of League of Legends - Riot Games has previously stated: 'We will introduce many new jungle champions' . True to their word, numerous new faces will grace this position in the upcoming version with the pet feature. Compared to the Season 12 Hunter's Machete, pets deal better area-of-effect damage, allowing champions to swiftly clear jungle camps. Let's now explore some of the unusual jungle champions that might appear in the Pre-Season 2023.

1. Sylas
Sylas has been seen in the Jungle role before, but Riot Games did not encourage it. The reason lies in Sylas flexing across multiple positions making draft phases very complex. However, Sylas might perform well in the Jungle role in the upcoming Pre-Season.

Sylas Jungle consumes a significant amount of health early in the game, and his jungle clearing speed is relatively low. With the introduction of the pet feature, they significantly improve this champion's weaknesses. With just teammate assistance in attacking the level 1 buff target, the Unshackled can complete the jungle round easily. Now, Sylas players maintain better health and enhance scaling in the Jungle role. Later on, this champion will shine in the mid-game once they have reached the necessary level and itemization.
2. Leviathan
For a significant period, Leviathan was rarely utilized in the Jungle position. With the introduction of the pet feature, the Sea Giant can now make a triumphant return to the Fields of Justice with a fresh role.

Swift jungle clearing and the ability to scale in power over time are the primary factors that kept Leviathan uncommon in the Jungle position. Initially, Leviathan faced difficulties with single-target jungle camps. Moreover, the Sea Giant's scaling interaction during matches was subpar. Now, with the effective support of the companion beast in jungle clearing, Leviathan can start at the Raptors or call for assistance from teammates to attack either of the buffs. After level 3, Leviathan will complete subsequent jungle rounds at a very fast pace.
3. Colossus
Colossus in the Jungle has almost never made an appearance in the Fields of Justice. In the Pre-Season 2023, the Giant Guardian might find effective use in the Jungle role.

Previously, Colossus struggled with jungle clearing. The champion's abilities had relatively long cooldowns early in the game, limiting its use to the Mid Lane Mage role. With the introduction of the pet feature, Colossus will enhance its jungle clearing speed to scale in power later on.
Similar to Nautilus, players often start with the Raptors or call for assistance from teammates to attack either of the buffs. Teamed up with the super-grade Predator's Mark, Galio Jungle is a fascinating choice in the Pre-Season 2023.
4. Yasuo - Yone
The Yasuo - Yone duo shares similar skill sets, so we group them together. Yasuo/ Yone could play in the Jungle position in previous seasons, but the efficiency was not high. This pair has weaknesses such as limited map impact early in the game and vulnerability to attacks from enemy Junglers.

However, the Yasuo/ Yone duo significantly enhances their jungle clearing ability in the Pre-Season 2023 version. Therefore, their health remains stable to impact other lanes. Unfortunately, when players use Yasuo/ Yone in the Jungle role, teammates will face considerable pressure in the early stages of the game. In return, this duo will comfortably farm in the jungle compared to solo lane roles.
Beyond the mentioned 5 champions, names like Warwick, Jax, Nasus,... have also seen a considerable increase in strength in the Jungle role in the Pre-Season 2023. Warwick is a prime example; the Hextech Monster will clear the Raptors and Red Brambleback much faster.
