Traditional dish of delicious and affordable duck eggs soaked in fish sauce

Ingredients
– 4 duck eggs
– Eggshell membranes removed
– Covered pot for boiling
– Bowl of ice water for soaking eggs to facilitate peeling
– Fish sauce, sugar, chili peppers
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare a pot of water and add enough water to fully submerge the eggs. Place the eggs in the pot when the water is still cold.

Tip: If the eggs are taken from the refrigerator, allow them to come to room temperature before boiling to prevent them from cracking during cooking.
Step 2: Boil the eggs on the stove until the water boils and continue boiling for 5-6 minutes to ensure the yolks are fully cooked. While boiling, gently rotate the eggs with chopsticks to center the yolks. If you prefer fully cooked duck eggs, boil for about 10 minutes in total.
Step 3: Once the eggs are cooked, remove them and immediately immerse them in a bowl of cold ice water for 2-3 minutes to make peeling easier.
Step 4: After peeling, cut the eggs into halves and place them in a bowl of pure fish sauce. You can add sliced chili peppers and sugar to the fish sauce according to your taste. Serve the duck eggs soaked in fish sauce with a variety of boiled vegetables such as gourd, cabbage, corn, etc., depending on your preference.
