Backblaze, a player in cloud storage, has projected a trend of decreasing storage costs with the use of traditional HDDs in the near future. The calculations suggest that by mid-2025, 1GB storage capacity with HDD will cost 0.01 USD, which is... over 200 Dong.

Since its inception in 2009, Backblaze has precisely invested in 265,332 various capacity HDDs. In 2009, storage costs were 0.11 USD for a GB of data. By 2017, the first time Backblaze calculated storage costs, they only had to spend 0.03 USD per GB.
