The sound of flowing water, the call of wild birds relentlessly echoes. The symphony of earth and sky reveals the fullness of the serene natural area of Trà Bói (Trà Giang commune, Trà Bồng district, Quảng Ngãi).
Tranquility of Trà Bói

Still unfamiliar to adventurers, yet the rawness and beauty of Trà Bói are enough to captivate any traveler who sets foot here. The lack of awareness may be due to the remoteness of the land and the challenging roads.
From Quảng Ngãi city, travelers follow provincial road 622 towards the mountains for about 30km until they reach Trà Phú junction.
Following the road shaded by lush forests to Trà Giang commune, stopping when the road ends. Park the vehicle by the forest edge, then follow the small trail on foot for about half an hour, listening to the rustling sound blending with the sky breeze.
Amidst the primal green, a cascade of pristine white water emerges, amidst interlocking large and small rocks. Even the elders of the Cor village do not know when the name Trà Bói came into existence, but there was a time when divination trees grew abundantly, and each season, both sides of the stream were adorned with a riot of blossoms.
'It is also the season of Cor couples' courtship, young people seeking each other out, and Trà Bói stream becoming a rendezvous for many,' shared village elder Ho Van Bum (87 years old).
As one ascends, more waterfalls cascade down, throwing up frothy white foam. Towards the upper reaches, the forest becomes denser, with stretches of the stream suddenly disappearing amidst the deep green forest, leaving only the echoes of the wind and water.
Following the water for a stretch, large rocks block the way, forming a pool that feels suspended midway up the mountain.
After indulging in a refreshing swim in the cool, clear stream, visitors can enjoy some self-prepared grilled dishes along with beer chilled by being submerged in the stream.
Those visitors unprepared for the journey can stop by the local eatery to savor local delicacies such as field mice, stone snails, bamboo fish, freshwater prawns... caught by the Cor people's nets from the very Trà Bói stream, prepared in the unique style of the Cor people.
Mr. Ho Van Hien, from Tra Son commune (Tra Bong district), returning from Trà Bói, shared that he has collaborated with a local resident to set up a restaurant right by the stream, using rocks as tables and chairs. 'There aren't many customers every day, even during peak times, it's only a few dozen,' he said.
Tourists come here for outdoor picnics, everyone enjoys the nature and the local cooking style. I think in a few years, there will be many more people coming here,' Mr. Hien shared.
