How to Copy Music from CD to Computer
FairStars CD Ripper is specialized software used to copy music from CDs to your computer, featuring a simple interface and, notably, it's completely free for users.
To accomplish this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Insert the music CD into the CD/DVD drive.
Step 2: Launch the FairStars CD Ripper software after installing it on your computer.
At that point, the software will list all the attributes of each song on your CD, displayed in columns:
- ID: Displays the sequence of songs in order from 01, 02, 03...to n.
- Title: Displays the default name of each song as Track01, Track02...to TrackN.
- Length: Displays the duration of each song.
- Size: Displays the size of each song.
You can tick to select all or only choose the songs you like to copy to your computer and can directly listen to each song through the PlayBack section.
Additionally, there are other parameters you need to pay attention to:
- Speed: Copy speed (Maximum, 40X, 32X…).
In the Output section, you can customize various parameters such as:
- Output Type: Music file format (WMA, MP3…)
- Output Folder: Choose the drive to save the music files.
- Output Filename(s): Naming convention for the music file(s).
Step 3: After selecting the parameters, click Extract at the top to start copying.
The program will copy each song to your computer one by one.
