Download the latest version of Zalo for your phone here:

Step 1: On your phone, open and log in to Zalo. Then, access the group you want to transfer group leadership.
Step 2: At the top right corner, click the 3-horizontal-line icon (Image 1). Then, swipe up the screen, click 'Transfer group leadership' (Image 2).

Step 3: Click 'Continue' (Image 3), then choose the person you want to transfer group leadership to (Image 4).

Step 4: Click 'Transfer' (Image 5). Return to the chat group interface, and you will see the notification of appointing a new group leader (Image 6).

- Download Zalo for PC: Zalo

Step 1: On your computer, open and log in to Zalo, then go to the group you want to transfer group leadership.
Step 2: At the top right corner, click on the icon as shown in the image.

Step 3: Click on 'Manage group, members'.

Step 4: Click on 'Leaders & Deputies'.

Step 5: Next, select 'Transfer group leadership'.

Step 6: At this point, you will receive a notification, click 'Continue'.

Step 7: Members in the group will be displayed, click on the person you want to transfer group leadership to.

Then click 'Confirm'.

Step 8: Above, you click the arrow as shown below. In the dialogue box, you will see Zalo notifying the transfer of group leader role.
