Alright everyone, if you have a spare iPad lying around and want to utilize it as a secondary display, I've got the solution for you! Let's quickly follow the instructions!
What to Do with Your iPad?
Step 1: First, please download 'Splashtop Wired XDisplay HD - Extend & Mirror' for your iPad right here!.
Step 2: Downloaded? Great! Open it up and plug the cable in to connect your iPad to the computer!
What to Do with Your Home PC?
Step 1: First, go to here! to download 'Splashtop Wired XDisplay', then select the compatible version and install it! I'm choosing the PC version here.
Step 2: After installation, open it up and you'll see a main interface. There, you can adjust the Framerate and Quality to your liking.
Step 3: Back to your iPad, you'll see your computer screen appearing but with two annoying black bars. Don't worry, we'll fix it right away!
Step 4: Back on your computer, click on the 'Set Resolution' button. In the Display settings, choose 'Extend these displays'!
Step 5: Now, arrange the order and position of the screens to make it look nice. The suggested resolution for the iPad is 1336 x 888.
Step 6: All done, your iPad screen will shine beautifully, no more awkward black bars!
