We have 3 methods to change image colors in Paint.NET:
- Utilizing the Paint Bucket tool
- Employing the Paint Brush tool.
- Using the Hue/Saturation feature.
Method 1: Changing image colors in Paint.NET using the Paint Bucket tool:
Step 1: Open Paint.Net software. Click on Open and select the path to the image you want to change color.
Step 2: Use the tools to create a selection area to choose the area you want to change color on the image. Here, I'm using the Magic Wand tool (you can choose other tools depending on the size characteristics of the image).
Step 3: After creating the selection area, click on the Paint Bucket tool (shortcut F). And select the color you want to change in the color palette (Colors).
Step 4: Click on the selection area to fill color.
So, the selection area has now been changed to the new color you chose.
Method 2: Changing image colors in Paint.NET using the PaintBrush tool:
Step 1: Use the tool to create the selection area to change color.
Step 2: Click on the PaintBrush tool (shortcut B). And select the color you want to change in the color palette (Colors).
Next, you choose the size for the paintbrush.
Step 3: Press and hold the left mouse button and drag over the selection area to fill color.
The selection area has now been changed to the new color you chose.
Method 3: Changing image colors in Paint.NET using the Hue/Saturation feature.
Step 1: Use the tool to create the selection area for color change.
Step 2: Click on Adjustments on the menu bar and select Hue/Saturation
Step 3: The Hue/Saturation window appears. You drag the slider to adjust parameters like:
- Hue: The color you want to change
- Saturation: The intensity of the color.
- Lightness: The brightness of the color.
Then click OK to confirm.
Your image will be changed to the new color based on the selections above.
