Step 1: Assume we have a portrait image like this, and to turn the image into text in Photoshop, first, duplicate the Layer using the shortcut Ctrl + J.
Step 2: After duplicating the Layer, if your Photoshop doesn't display Layers, press F7, then turn off the eye icon on the copied Layer. We will work on the main Layer named Mytour.
Step 3: Look to the menu on the left-hand side, here we choose the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M).
Step 4: Next, draw a square covering half of the image area from left to right, as shown.
