Laundry without Detergent
Skip carrying detergent to avoid adding extra weight to your luggage. Just wash your clothes with shampoo or body wash. The added advantage of using these detergents is that you won't need to rinse as much water as when using regular laundry detergent.
After a thorough wringing, spread the hotel's bath towel, roll your pants or shirt in it, and wring it again. The towel will continue to absorb excess water from your clothes, ensuring surprisingly quick drying when hung out.
Air Drying
If you're preparing for an extended journey with limited clothes, consider bringing a small string as an improvised clothesline for drying.
Before your trip, prepare a small mesh bag. If your clothes aren't completely dry the next day, place them in the mesh bag and hang it outside your luggage. Your clothes will continue to dry while you're on the move.
