Once hailed as the perfect spot for photography and camping, Pig Hill in Vung Tau is now under a camping ban due to safety concerns and the accumulation of waste after each activity.

Recently, local authorities have imposed a camping ban at Pig Hill citing two main reasons.
One reason is the behavior of young people who camp, eat, and leave litter, making the area untidy. Previously, there were also instances of individuals exploiting visitors for money.
The steep and rugged terrain poses dangers, making overnight camping unsafe.

Currently, Ward 2, Vung Tau City has only erected temporary prohibition signs and is in the process of completing the main signs with reminders and images urging visitors to be cautious, refrain from littering, and avoid cooking activities that could harm the environment. In the near future, the ward will construct barriers around the area to ensure the safety of visitors.
