Embark on an adventure to explore the rugged paths of Tà Giang Grassland in Khánh Hòa Province, a majestic mountainous area adorned with lush greenery, untouched wilderness, and serene tranquility.
Trekking Through Tà Giang Grassland, Khánh Hòa Province
When mentioning tourism in Khánh Hòa, people often think of the beautiful beaches and famous islands. However, Khánh Hòa also boasts vast grasslands, expansive national parks, majestic landscapes, and rocky streams.

Deeply hidden in a remote valley in Thành Sơn commune, Khánh Sơn district, Khánh Hòa province, lies a Tà Giang Grassland that is not bustling but still gentle. Tà Giang Grassland is located about 70km from Cam Ranh and is the homeland of the Raglai ethnic group.

Tà Giang Grassland is also quite an unusual destination for many tourists. This is where the Chapi guitar originated, as mentioned by musician Trần Tiến in his song after his visit to this area in 1993.

To fully appreciate the pristine beauty of Tà Giang, the only current way is to embark on long-distance walking or trekking. Due to the limited tourism development here, this place still conserves its original charm, relatively unaffected by human impact.

Along this route, you will pass through primeval forests, Raglai ethnic farming areas, and rugged hills all unfolding before your eyes. The atmosphere here is remarkably cool and incredibly fresh, thanks to the enveloping forest cover.

Special mention must be made of the unique stone streams in this area. You will wade through numerous clear stone streams, sometimes even catching sight of fish swimming in the water. All scenes are adorned with a refreshing green hue, providing a soothing relaxation.

Conquering the Tà Giang plateau usually takes about 2 days and 1 night. You will experience the feeling of camping on the hills, enjoying meals with forest specialties such as bamboo rice and grilled meat...

As night falls, you will be surprised by the sight of the sky full of stars, especially on moonlit nights when the entire area is brightly lit. This scene can only be witnessed in areas far from light pollution from urban areas.

To prepare well for this journey, you need to carefully consult safety guidelines, suitable and lightweight clothing. The trekking route to Tà Giang plateau is relatively easy, so you don't need to worry too much, just enjoy the magnificent scenery here.
