After delivering baby Tít, grandma shared a trick for cleansing postpartum discharge using fresh garden greens. It worked like magic, just a few days and it was gone. Moms, give it a try!
After childbirth, many mothers experience postpartum bleeding, which can last from 2 to 6 weeks depending on each person's body. Typically, in the first 3-4 days after giving birth, the discharge will be red like blood, then gradually lighten and disappear completely after 1 month to 45 days. Dealing with postpartum discharge can be uncomfortable. Luckily, my mother-in-law taught me a quick way to clean it up. Give it a try, ladies:
Trick to Clean Postpartum Discharge Using Watercress:
-If not available, buy fresh watercress and soak it in salt water. Then, thoroughly wash under clean running water, drain, and grind the watercress with a little salt and water. Drink one cup of this mixture daily.
-Mothers only need to drink for 3 – 5 days to clear the discharge and aid in rapid uterine contraction to restore to its original state.
-If unable to consume fresh watercress, mothers can cook soup to eat daily. This method also helps clear the discharge but may not be as fast as drinking it fresh.

-Additionally, mothers should use regular sanitary pads and avoid tampons. It is best to change every 4 hours.
Note when applying this method:
If during the consumption process, mothers still notice a significant amount of discharge and experience the following signs, they should immediately consult a doctor:
-The discharge is bright red or white, with a foul odor, and may contain fresh blood clots.
-Excessive and heavy bleeding (hemorrhage).
-No discharge or very little, clears up in 1-2 days.
-The discharge lasts over a month accompanied by severe abdominal pain.
