Throughout the day, we may find ourselves bombarded with a plethora of notifications from various applications on our mobile devices. On Android, once you've perused a notification, you can simply swipe horizontally to remove it from the Notifications center or tap 'CLEAR ALL' to eliminate all notifications. In the event that you accidentally dismiss an unread notification or wish to revisit the history of received notifications on your Android device, you can follow these methods:For Android 10 and Earlier VersionsTo access notification history, long-press on an empty space on the Home screen, then select Widgets. In the Widgets section, locate the Settings option, long-press and drag the Settings icon onto the Home screen.
Next, select Notification log and you're all set. To view the notification history, simply tap on the widget you just added to the Home screen.
For Android 11In Android 11, Google appears to have recognized the importance of this feature and has integrated it directly into Settings. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications, toggle On for Use notification history. Once enabled, you'll see the entire notification history right below 😁.
That's for checking within Settings. On the Home screen, simply swipe down the Notifications center and you'll see the option History. Tap on it to access the history of notifications.
Note that on Android 11, we can still use method 1 to view notification history. However, using method 2 provides a bit more privacy, avoiding curious eyes when someone else is holding your phone 😃.Tricks for Checking Notification History on Android, wishing you all a joyful time :D
