1. Check Internet Connection
Sometimes, the most basic issue preventing us from receiving emails is the loss of Internet connection. Simply check your Internet connection, try turning off and on your modem/router to resolve the issue.
2. Outlook in Offline Mode
As seen in the image above, you may notice the Status bar displaying Working Offline, indicating that your Microsoft Outlook has switched to offline mode. To receive and send emails, you need to reactivate Microsoft Outlook by going to Send/ Receive => Work Offline
3. Resetting Outlook Account
Step 1: Navigate to Control Panel => Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016) (32-bit).
Step 2: Choose Show Profile.
Step 3: Click on Add to add your Outlook account.
Step 4: Fill in the email information such as name, email address, password.
4. Repair Microsoft Office Installation
Step 1: Go to Programs and Features, right-click on the Microsoft Office installation, and select Change.
Step 2: Choose Repair => Continue.
