Where is Truong Gia Gioi located? What part of China is it in?
Truong Gia Gioi is actually a city in Hubei Province, China, known for its numerous remarkable landmarks renowned for their enchanting and historical allure. There are two major scenic areas here, situated in different directions, so visitors should plan their time and itinerary carefully if they wish to explore both:

From what I've observed, most tours tend to cover only one destination per day. Given the packed schedule, it's unlikely that you'll be able to fully appreciate all the beauty around. Moreover, it can be quite exhausting. My suggestion is to be selective in your choices. For those who prefer quality over quantity, it's best to visit the most famous spots, such as the Vu Lang Nguyen scenic area with Vien Gia Gioi, Bach Long, Pandora area... and explore them via cable car to take in all the breathtaking views. Then, perhaps, visit the Bao Phong Lake or the glass-bottomed bridge at Thien Van Do. As for Thien Mon Son, there's really nothing special about it except for the 99-turn road, and everyone who visits ends up... quite scared because it's just too terrifying.

Book hotels in Truong Gia Gioi to save costs while ensuring safety
Your itinerary should determine where you book your hotel. If you plan to spend more time at Truong Gia Gioi National Park and attend the Glorious Truong Tay show, consider staying in the Vu Lang Nguyen area as it's closest to the national park. If you prefer Thiên Môn Sơn and want to be closer to the center of Truong Gia Gioi for easier access to the train station, then opt for this area.
We chose Vu Lang Nguyen area because most of our time is spent only in the national park ^^, not interested in the 99-turn road. But truth be told, it can be a bit tiring because when we arrive at Truong Gia Gioi train station, we have to take a taxi or bus to Vu Lang Nguyen.
Recommended hotels/homestays in Vu Lang Nguyen
For this Vu Lang Nguyen area, we chose a hotel (unfortunately, it's now closed and not available for booking anymore :() right by the entrance of the park, on Yundi Street. It's just a few steps away because we anticipated it would be crowded, so we had to queue up early, otherwise it would be a waste of time.
Here are some hotels I've checked out and selected, take a look:
How long does it take to explore all of Truong Gia Gioi?
It takes at least 2 days, but preferably 3 days, and some even spend a whole week ^^, of course, managing your time efficiently. If you want to visit just 2 places: Truong Gia Gioi National Park and Thien Mon Son, you need at least 2 days. If you want to visit the glass-bottomed bridge, mountain alleys, and Bao Phong Lake, then add another day to make it 3 days. As for those who prefer trekking in Truong Gia Gioi National Park, you should allocate 2-3 days because it's quite extensive, with many stunning areas, almost like undiscovered fairylands.
