Many background services run on your computer that you rarely use, and sometimes not using them can slow down your machine. To make your computer faster, you should turn off unnecessary or unused services to lighten the system.

You can turn off services in the Services section of System Configuration or Computer Management. Follow these steps:
You can turn off unnecessary services in the Services section of System Configuration.
Step 1: Click on Start, type the keyword msconfig, and select msconfig.

Alternatively, you can press the Windows key + R, in the Run dialog, type msconfig, and select OK (or Enter).

Step 2: In System Configuration, select the Services tab. You can check the box next to Hide all Microsoft services to hide Microsoft services.

To disable a service, uncheck the box next to the service and select Apply. Then, press OK.
Additionally, you should access Computer Management for more options in System Configuration.
Step 1: Right-click on My Computer and select Manage.

Step 2: In Computer Management, select Services and Applications and then choose Services.

There are 4 modes for services in Startup Type:
- Manual: Starts only when applications require this service.
- Automatic: Starts automatically when the computer boots up.
- Automatic (Delayed Start): Starts after the computer has been running for a period of time.
- Disable: Completely turned off, only starts when activated by the user or switched to another mode.
You can customize the mode for services according to your needs and usage purposes. Double-click on the service and select Startup Type to change the mode.

After making changes, click on Apply and then OK.
With these two methods, you can identify all unnecessary background services running in the system and disable them. Wish you success!
