Method 1: Use Adblocks Plus application to disable ads on YouTube
If you're using Google Chrome browser
Install the Youtube add-on for Chrome browser called Adblock Plus

+ Method 2: Visit the Chrome Web Store
Step 1: Search for Adblock Plus in the Search the Store section.
Step 2: Click Free under Adblock Plus Add-on.
A Pop-up window will appear --> Click Add to install the add-on for Chrome.
- If you're using Firefox browser
Step 1: Download Adblock Plus for Firefox here
Step 2: A Pop-up window will appear, click Install to install this Add-on. Wait for about 5 s --> Install Now
Step 3: Activate one or all of the 3 available functions:
- Malware Blocking: Prevent malware infections while browsing the Web.
- Remove Social Media Buttons: Stop others from tracking your Web browsing activity such as removing the Remove function in Facebook.
- Disable Tracking: Turn off ads on websites.
If you want to disable ads on YouTube, select the Disable Tracking function by clicking the mouse to switch from Off --> On.
Method 2:
Step 1: Sign in to create a Gmail account and go to the YouTube page. Look up at the top right, click on the account icon to access Youtube Settings (the gear icon)
Step 2: In the new window that appears, click on Playback
Step 3: In the Playback interface, uncheck the box next to Show annotations, channel promotions and interactive cards on videos. Finally, click Save to save the settings. And from now on, when watching Videos on Youtube, you won't see any annotations displayed on the screen anymore

With one of the two settings above, you can now turn off annotations and ads that appear on YouTube videos. Now you can enjoy your videos without any issues.
