In our previous article, we guided users on optimizing Google Maps to save data usage, speed up map loading, and optimize their devices. In this article, Mytour.vn demonstrates how to activate Android Device Manager on user devices.
Turn on Android Device Manager, activate Android Device Manager on Android devices
Android Device Manager is one of the security features integrated into most Android devices today (some devices may not have it). It helps users locate their devices when lost, sound an alert even with a disabled SIM, support remote lock, and erase user data in case of loss.
Key Functions of the Application
- Determine the location of your Android device
- Link it to your Google account
- Reset the phone's lock screen
- Erase all data on the phone
Activate Android Device Manager on your device.
- For devices without pre-installed Android Device Manager, download and install it. Activate it to use. If you're unsure how to use it, refer to How to Use Android Device Manager
+ Download Android Device Manager: Android Device Manager
- For devices with it pre-installed, users only need to activate it to use. Follow these steps:
1. From Google Settings select Security under Security
2. Access Android Device Management - Android Device Manager
3. Proceed to Activate - Active
After activation, users can use this feature on their devices without installing any third-party apps. iOS users also have a similar function called Find My iPhone. However, just like on Android, this default feature is not activated. Users can manually enable/disable Find My iPhone on their iPhones.
