Livestreamers can exempt verification before engaging in chat for their subscribers, VIPs, and moderators. The new verification setting is off by default. Streamers can activate the new security feature by going to Dashboard > Settings > Moderation, while moderators can access these settings through Chat > Manage Moderation Settings.
The company will allow up to five accounts to be verified through a single phone number for business purposes. However, no one can rely on this to evade bans. This means that if an account verified by phone is suspended across the entire site, all accounts associated with that phone number will also be suspended site-wide. Users will not be able to verify additional accounts using a phone number linked to a suspended account.
At the channel level, if a channel has banned an account verified by phone or email, then all other accounts linked to that phone number or email will also be prohibited from chatting in that channel.
