Twitter enables users to report fake accounts
It's uncertain how the company will handle reported accounts as fake, but it's clear that the addition of new options will aid in identifying spam accounts. According to a Twitter spokesperson:
'The new reporting stream allows us to gather more detailed information to better identify and remove spam accounts effectively. With detailed reports, the company will consider adding more resources in the review process.'
Twitter is also one of the popular social networking applications, with a large user base currently. However, the biggest issue still persists on this social media platform, which is fake and spam accounts. The company is making efforts to tackle this problem, but whether it will be effective remains to be seen.
