Podcasts in the Spaces tab will include content from Vox Media, NPR, ... and will be categorized into music, news, sports, entertainment, travel, ..., all personalized by algorithms so that users can enjoy based on what (including people and content) they follow and care about on Twitter.

Twitter is currently experimenting with podcasts as part of the redesigned Spaces tab.

Earlier this year, Jane Manchun Wong, a renowned app researcher, discovered Twitter's development of a new Podcast tab. However, it seems Twitter aims to consolidate all audio content in Spaces as a 'one-stop' destination for podcasts and live audio. Furthermore, the new Spaces tab will have distinct categories to differentiate from the current Spaces tab and will group podcasts by similar topics.

Twitter launched Spaces in November 2020; however, at that time, only Twitter users with 600 or more followers were allowed to host Spaces. A year later, the platform allows users without accounts to access Spaces, even on the web browser. Now, Spaces is being redesigned to function as a podcast platform.
