Two-Day Tour of An Giang During the Flooding Season
According to the itinerary for exploring Chau Doc - Binh Thien (An Giang) 2 days 1 night later, you'll have the opportunity to visit many attractions while still saving costs (around 1 million VND for two people).
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Chau Doc (An Giang)

6 AM: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City to Chau Doc.
You can purchase ferry tickets at the Mien Tay Bus Station for 150,000-200,000 VND per person. The journey takes about 6 hours. If taking the ferry, consider departing around 9-10 PM. This way, by around 6 AM, you'll arrive in Chau Doc.
If traveling by motorbike, you can depart from Ho Chi Minh City to Chau Doc in two ways. One is via National Highway 1 - My Thuan Bridge - turn right onto National Highway 80 - Vam Cong ferry - Long Xuyen - National Highway 91 - Chau Doc. The other is via National Highway 1 - Long An - turn right onto National Highway 62 towards Moc Hoa - Chau Doc.

12 PM: Lunch break.
1 PM: Leave Forbidden Mountain for Tà Pạ Mountain. From the hilltop, you'll see vast fields with towering palm trees standing out against the deep blue sky.
12 PM: Depart from Tà Pạ Mountain, heading back to Ho Chi Minh City. Ending the 2-day 1-night exploration of Chau Doc - Binh Thien wetland (An Giang).
