Ba Hòn Đầm and Hòn Nghệ are both islands in Kiên Giang boasting pristine natural landscapes, unique beauty that captivates anyone who sets foot here. These are also two lesser-known destinations in Kiên Giang.
Two islands in Kiên Giang few know about
The land of Kiên Giang is blessed with many picturesque landscapes, with scenes of endless forests and cool blue seas that always attract a large number of visitors. However, there are two islands in Kiên Giang that few know about: Ba Hòn Đầm and Hòn Nghệ.
Ba Hòn Đầm
A destination in the Bà Lụa archipelago, located in Sơn Hải commune, Kiên Lương district, about 80km from Rạch Giá city, and about 30km from Hà Tiên, convenient to travel on national highway 80 and provincial road 11.

Ba Hòn Đầm consists of Đầm Dương, Đầm Đước, and Đầm Giếng, each with different landscapes such as lush bamboo forests, clear blue beaches with many small stones, and freshwater wells providing water for residents. From this island, visitors can easily look over to another island. Additionally, when the tide goes out, the beaches on the lagoon reveal various types of seafood such as clams, mussels, green mussels, scallops, moon snails, sea grapes... Visitors can go snorkeling to catch seafood for cooking.

A fresh, cool space is always a sought-after destination for travelers. If traveling independently, visitors can buy fresh seafood such as lobster, shrimp, or choose seafood hotpot, fried rice... at affordable prices and then organize a luxurious BBQ by the beach.

Hòn Nghệ
A destination also in the Bà Lụa archipelago, in Hòn Nghệ commune, Kiên Lương district. When visiting Hòn Nghệ, tourists will take a boat to admire the large and small islands on Ha Tien Bay, often likened to the “Hạ Long Bay” of the Southwest coast.

Hòn Nghệ is a little-known island but it has many attractive sights. The beautiful spots of Hòn Nghệ are concentrated at Mũi Đá Chuông, highlighted by the ancient Liên Tôn pagoda with three sides facing the sea, offering a stunning sunset view. In addition, there are many other impressive places here such as Phật Cô Đơn cave, Gia Long cave, Quýt cave... This place has many households raising cage fish, offering tourists the opportunity to visit and experience fishing activities at sea. You can have lunch and enjoy dishes made from grouper, barramundi, snapper... on the locals' cages.
