To write Vietnamese characters in Photoshop, you need a Vietnamese typing software like Vietkey or Unikey. After downloading and installing this tool, you can comfortably type Vietnamese in Photoshop.
Currently, most users prefer Unikey software, so we will guide you based on this software. You can also do the same with Vietkey.

Typing Vietnamese in photoshop cs5
First, open the character map and select Encoding: Vni Windows. Unlike when using Word where you usually choose Unicode or TCVN3, you must choose VNI Windows to be compatible with Photoshop. Then save and close Unikey.
Then open your photoshop CS5 software. In the font selection section, you can choose fonts starting with VNI. For example, you can choose VNI – Dur.
Now, try typing Vietnamese as usual and see. If it doesn't work, you can restart or install additional fonts for your Photoshop to get the best fonts.
