Design
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus emerges as a refined version of the Galaxy S8 Plus, featuring a 2K resolution Infinity Display. The 6.2-inch infinity screen with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio gives the device a sleeker look while maximizing the display area.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available in four variants: Mystic Black, Titanium Silver, Coral Blue, and the new Lilac Purple. Both models are set to hit the markets on March 16, 2018, in selected regions.
The rear side is practically the only notable difference between the Galaxy S9 Plus and Galaxy S8 Plus. With the fingerprint sensor moved below the rear camera, users will find it more convenient and prevent smudging the camera lens.
Camera
The camera stands out as the most notable upgrade. Firstly, the Galaxy S9 still features a single 12MP rear camera, while the Galaxy S9+ proudly boasts a dual 12MP rear camera, similar to the Galaxy Note 8 from the past year. A noteworthy feature on the camera is the variable aperture: f/1.5 and f/2.4, providing more flexibility in various shooting scenarios, resulting in higher-quality photos. This is a feature traditionally found only on professional cameras. Thanks to this, both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will capture over 28% more necessary light and reduce noise by approximately 30% compared to the previous model.
The Galaxy S9 Plus supports slow-motion video recording at 940 frames per second, allowing you to capture dynamic moments as GIFs and share them with friends. This unique feature enables users to create entertaining videos with super slow-motion capabilities.

Snapdragon 845 comes paired with the new Adreno 630 graphics chip, anticipated to be 30% faster than the Snapdragon 835 chip from last year. Conversely, the ARM Mali GPU accompanying the Exynos 9810 chip boasts a speed increase of 20% compared to its predecessor.
The version available in Vietnam will feature the Exynos 9810 processor on a 10nm cycle, 6 GB RAM, and 64 GB internal storage. This device also marks the first time supporting expandable memory up to 400 GB along with a 3,000 mAh (S9) and 3,500 mAh (S9+) battery.
