Recently, Tecno unveiled two exceptional wonders, Spark 10 Pro and Spark 10, at an incredibly affordable price.
Luxurious Design of SPARK 10 Pro in the 4 Million Price Range
The Tecno Spark 10 Pro phone comes in two colors, Starry Black and a Pearl White variant, set to be available in Vietnam.
Speaking of packaging, it's a relatively small box but contains more inside than you'd find from other manufacturers. It includes a transparent silicon case, a Type-C charger, a SIM ejector tool, and wired earphones with a 3.5mm jack.
The back of the phone is made of glass, a first appearance in the Spark series. The matte finish adds a premium feel to the phone. Official images of the device in white and black create a luxurious impression.
The Black Star phone boasts a deep green hue like ink, while the Pearl White variant subtly shifts colors in different angles of light. The product gains more sophistication when combined with the camera cluster featuring a glossy background.
The Spark 10 Pro's front screen has a more Android-like appearance with the front camera in the center. The LED flash is discreetly tucked into the top bezel, offering three brightness levels and a 32MP sensor, promising impressive nighttime selfies.
Shifting to the rear camera, it features a 50MP sensor behind the f/1.6 lens with 1080p video recording capability. Powered by the Helio G88 processor – a 12nm chip with two Cortex-A75 cores (2.0GHz) and six A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G52 MC2.
The large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1,080 x 2,460px resolution (20.5:9 aspect ratio), measuring 168.4 x 76.2 x 8.4mm, and weighing 208g. This weight includes a 5,000mAh battery, bundled with an 18W charger (7.5V - 2.4A), a 3.5mm headphone jack next to the USB-C port at the bottom, noteworthy items on the sides include the Power button (also a fingerprint sensor) and the card slot. The tray accommodates two nano-SIMs side by side and a microSD card.
Both Spark devices come with 8GB RAM (expandable to 16GB using virtual RAM by HiOS 12.6) and offer two storage configurations – 128GB and 256GB. It's important to highlight that the phone comes with Android 13 straight out of the box, setting a standard for 2023.
The SPARK 10 camera is truly the best
Upon unboxing, you'll find the phone, a protective case, SIM tool, earphones, 18W charger, and Type-C charging cable. In a market where manufacturers are omitting accessories, TECNO bundling them with the phone is commendable.
Unlike its Pro counterpart with a glass back, the standard Spark 10 features a composite polymer back with a matte finish, providing a premium feel. The phone includes a fingerprint sensor, positioned alongside the power button and volume rocker on the right. Additionally, there's a speaker, Type-C charging port, headphone jack, and microphone at the bottom. On the left side, you'll find the dual SIM slot, which also houses a microSD slot.
Spark 10 comes in two appealing colors, Meta Black and Meta Green as shown below.
Speaking of the camera, Spark 10 boasts a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. Video recording is capped at 1080p resolution. Spark 10 excels in both main and selfie cameras, delivering images with good detail, color saturation, dynamic range, and effective background separation even in low light. While lacking a dedicated night mode, the photos are clear and vibrant, worthy of sharing on social media.
TECNO now ships the Spark 10 series with 8GB RAM, 4GB on the motherboard and 4GB virtual, and storage options up to 128GB. The entire product line runs on Android 13 and HiOS 12.6. Spark 10 features the Helio G37 chipset, providing ample power. It's a capable processor that handles most tasks from easy to moderate.
Spark 10 features a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HD resolution. The display quality is excellent for its price, offering true colors, optimal brightness, and good viewing angles. The 5000mAh battery supports fast charging at 18W, enabling the phone to reach a full charge in under 2 hours.
