Unboxing the Galaxy A80 in Vietnam: Samsung's Latest Galaxy Phone with Unique Features
In the premium mid-range segment, the Galaxy A80 has made a strong impression with its completely new New Infinity screen design and unique 180-degree rotating camera module.
After 3 months of introduction in Bangkok, Samsung's premium mid-range smartphone has officially entered the Vietnamese market with a price of 14,990,000 VND.

The most prominent feature of this phone is its unique 180-degree sliding and rotating camera system, giving it a distinct edge among a sea of smartphones with increasingly similar designs.

Thanks to this mechanism, Samsung has successfully tackled the bezel-less screen challenge completely, introducing a new standard called New Infinity - no need for notches, no imperfections. The screen size on the A80 is quite large at 6.7 inches but feels just right in users' hands due to the optimized bezel-less design, eliminating unnecessary extra space.

Equipped with the familiar Super AMOLED panel, along with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio, the content displayed on this phone is very pleasing to the eye. Watching movies or playing games on the Galaxy A80 is extremely enjoyable because there are no hindrances like notches or water droplets as seen in other products on the market.
Turning to the camera section, as mentioned earlier, this is the standout feature and differentiator of the Galaxy A80 compared to other products. Of course, the uniqueness doesn't just lie in the flipping mechanism, but also its greatest benefit which is delivering better and clearer selfie image quality using the rear camera.

Housing three cameras, including a main camera with a resolution of up to 48 MP, supported by a ToF sensor for depth sensing to aid in active background blur (Live Focus) not only for photos but also videos, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view.

Of course, when flipped to the front for selfies, users can also take advantage of features like Live Focus or the perfect ultra-wide angle. With this '2 in 1' integration, the Galaxy A80 also targets young users or Live content creators, providing better quality that other phones may find hard to match.

The Galaxy A80 utilizes Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730G processor, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. With this configuration, Samsung's smartphone promises to deliver good multitasking capabilities and provide users with a more seamless experience.
The Galaxy A80's battery has a capacity of 3700mAh. Notably, it is Samsung's second smartphone after the Galaxy S10+ 5G to feature Super Fast Charging capability with up to 25W power.

A small note is that the charger of the Galaxy A80 uses the USB-C standard.

The 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed, replaced by a SIM slot. Especially, the included accessories do not come with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, indicating Samsung's determination to phase out this port in the future, and users may opt for Galaxy Buds wireless headphones for more convenience. This is also one of the details marking the imminent demise of this traditional headphone port.
The Galaxy A80 is Samsung's first smartphone equipped with sound technology within the screen. It supports Dolby Atmos technology, simulating 360-degree surround sound when using headphones or Bluetooth speakers.

The device's bezel is painted in a pink color similar to the back. The metal frame makes the overall device feel solid, sturdy, and very premium.

The Galaxy A80 also features an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The complete set also includes a cute pink protective case.
