The packaging this year mirrors that of the previous one, adorned with Vietnamese-language information labels on the exterior. The box is compact, naturally sans the charging brick.
Apart from the main device, you'll find a charging cable, a user manual in Vietnamese, and a SIM ejector pin included in the package.
The version I have in hand is the 8 GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant, in Pink Gold color (referred to as Champagne Pink on the Samsung website). Other color options include Bora Purple, Graphite Grey, and Lovebird Green.
Unboxing the pink variant reveals a beautifully designed back, featuring a delicate blush pink that exudes femininity and sophistication. The metallic frame, also in pink, encompasses both the device's edges and the hinge, adding a glossy and elegant touch.
Overall, the device feels slender in hand, with a flat metallic edge providing a luxurious and sturdy sensation, devoid of the previous rough texture.
The hinge is slimmer than the previous folding version, and the folding edge is smooth, pleasing both to the ears and the touch.

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy Z Flip4 is now equipped with IPX8 water resistance (submersible up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes), featuring Ultra Thin Glass for the foldable screen to resist scratches, with durability extended up to 200,000 folds. The device also boasts Corning Gorilla Victus+ glass to minimize damage from impacts. Samsung meticulously crafted and protected the phone with their toughest aluminum frame.

On the software front, the Galaxy Z Flip4 is equipped with the latest and most powerful Samsung chip of the current moment, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Personally, this upgrade may not be crucial or significant, as the Snapdragon 888 on the Galaxy Z Flip3 and the Snap Dragon 8 Gen 1 on the S22 Ultra are already more than sufficient for my needs, without the need for a stronger upgrade.
However, in the long run, with operating system upgrades and the inclusion of the newest and most powerful chip from the company, it becomes an advantage for users who want to use the device for an extended period.

I had high expectations for the selfie camera, but Samsung has not made significant upgrades this year. The quality of capturing with the 10MP selfie camera remains unchanged from the Galaxy Z Flip3, which already had room for improvement in image processing and overall quality to fully leverage the Flexcam feature.
On the flip side, the rear camera this time features dual lenses of 12MP each for wide and ultra-wide angles. Additionally, there's an upgrade in pixel size to 1.8 micrometers, ensuring high-quality and well-lit photos.
The Quick Short feature allows you to use the rear camera for taking selfies and previewing them on the compact 1.9-inch secondary display. This is convenient as it enables you to swiftly activate the camera for selfie shots while maintaining excellent image quality thanks to the phone's rear camera.
This secondary screen provides quick access to various functions while capturing essential information such as notifications, messages, weather updates, alarms, voice recording, and more.

The viewing angles are quite comfortable, though the aspect ratio tends to be slightly elongated vertically. This time around, we have a Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is impressive, and fold creases aren't a major concern; during usage, I didn't notice them much.
