The home decor lighting market offers a myriad of options, but to elevate the experience beyond mere decoration, Nanoleaf designs are a must-mention! Renowned for their unique and innovative designs, full of creativity and utility, I had to get my hands on the newest Nanoleaf product - the 4D light, and unbox it right away. Not just light bulbs, Nanoleaf has been continuously innovating to bring a range of smart and modern decorative lights to the market, elevating and redefining the concept of 'living space'
If you're someone who loves modern, dynamic vibes, and especially if you're investing in a high-end smart home system, then you should definitely give this product a try. Both are Nanoleaf 4D products, but there are 2 types: one for 65-inch screens and one for 85-inch screens. This time, I bought the one for 65-inch screens first. When I get ahold of an 85-inch screen, I'll buy the other set.
I've watched quite a few unboxing and review clips, mostly from abroad, because this 4D product set was just announced earlier this year.
Opening the box, the first impression is that it's incredibly heavy, almost impossible to hold with just one hand. Inside, there's a user manual starting with a QR code instead of a cumbersome text file like other common products.
Additionally, there are some 3M adhesives, a strip of color-changing LED lights (our main character), with the 3M adhesive design running along the back of the light strip for secure attachment.
There's also a power cord, a screen reflection camera, a small cover to ensure privacy or protect the camera head from dust. This camera specifically only captures screen colors for reflection, not images, ensuring utmost privacy and security for users. The maximum color range of the light strip is over 16 million colors, very impressive.
There's also a camera mount (camera stand), a control panel with adjustment buttons, a USB port for the camera, a USB-C port for the LED strip, and a power plug for the remaining port (check out the attached clip for more details). Additionally, there are corner mounts for the light strip, used to wrap the light strip around the corners of the screen or TV.
All the details are neatly arranged and very tidy. This is a big plus in terms of packaging, although I noticed some wood dust from the outer shell sticking to the details, giving the impression that the product is dusty even though it's completely sealed. The material and design of the outer shell may remind you of images of egg cartons... I actually had this association when I opened the box.
As for the price, it's over 2 million VND for this product. Personally, I don't think it's too expensive, and I'm sure it will be suitable for those who enjoy gaming, listening to music, watching movies, and want to enhance their 'relaxation' experience not only through visual enjoyment but also through the integration with complementary products or applications (Nanoleaf smart lights not only reflect colors on the screen to provide a 4D experience but also respond to sound).
And this article documents my unboxing experience, to provide the most realistic evaluations of quality and application, I definitely need to attach it to the screen to shoot a clip for everyone to easily imagine, and I promise another article later. Oh, I forgot, to use it, you need to download the Nanoleaf app and connect to a 2.4 GHz wifi.- Small note: The 5GHz network is not compatible with Nanoleaf products
