A Weibo vlogger named Flypig has just released a nearly 4-minute unboxing video of the upcoming X Fold 2, showcased at the 2023 Boao Forum in China. The unboxing video has unveiled numerous noteworthy design details of this phone. Here are some snapshots from the unboxing video.
The back of the Vivo X Fold 2 features two shades of red. The camera module sports a circular design with ZEISS and Vivo logos embellished with leather. The rest is finished in glossy.

The camera cluster of the X Fold 2 contains three sensors along with a ring-shaped LED flash. The external screen has a hole-punch front camera and curved edges. On the right side of the device are the volume rocker and power button. The top edge has speakers and a microphone, while another set of speakers and microphone, along with a USB-C port and SIM slot, are located at the bottom.

The Vivo X Fold 2 integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on both the external and internal screens. One of the snapshots shows that the new device will be significantly thinner than its predecessors. It is known that the previous Vivo X Fold and X Fold+ duo weighed 311 grams.

Vivo X Fold 2 is set to debut in April in China. Additionally, the company will also introduce the Vivo X Flip, a vertically foldable phone, and the Vivo Pad 2.
