He embodies all the necessary traits of a Warrior-Assassin, including agility, control, burst damage, and decent durability. Being an Assassin-oriented Warrior, prioritizing item builds focusing on burst damage is crucial. This Arena of Valor hero's basic attacks are strengthened after using skills, resulting in substantial damage per hit. What is Zuka's Critical Strike Build?

As mentioned in the title, this is a lesson utilizing items or runes with critical strike chance/damage. With this lesson, Zuka will maximize the source of damage from basic attacks while still ensuring damage from his abilities. Let's discuss below to understand the details of this item build as well as its practicality in the game.

Runes Table

• 10 Red Runes III Critical Strike Chance
• 10 Purple Runes III Physical Attack/Move Speed
• 10 Green Runes III Physical Attack/Armor Pierce

In the Critical Strike Zuka lesson, I'll prioritize using the line with 16% critical strike chance for this hero. Having critical strike chance right from the start of the match can help Zuka accelerate his resource farming ability as well as clearing minions. I'll prioritize the other two lines for physical attack/armor pierce stats.

Assistance

• Flicker
• Punish

Being a Warrior with an Assassin inclination, Zuka can either go Top or Jungle. With the two assists as above, it will greatly support Zuka, helping him fulfill his tasks effectively. It could be creating opportunities to catch enemy carries with Flicker or contesting targets with Punish.

Arcana

• Main Branch (Benevolence): Excess - Onslaught – Guerilla
• Sub-Branch (Genesis): Frosty Orb - Slayer

Since Zuka is a mobile hero with fast cooldowns on skills, I'll prioritize enhancing his skill recovery ability with 'The Mirror' in the main branch. For the sub-branch, I'll choose Genesis arcana with Frosty Orb and Slayer. These two branches will provide Zuka with freezing potential from Frosty Orb as well as physical damage from the Slayer effect. 

Equipment

Zuka is a Warrior with skills geared towards dealing high damage, so I'll build 2 specific builds for his Top and Jungle positions in Arena of Valor.

• Gilded Greaves/Muramasa/Omni Arms/Frost Cape/ Fenrir's Tooth/Aegis

For Jungle:

• Soulreaver/Gilded Greaves/Muramasa/Omni Arms/Frost Cape/Fenrir's Tooth.

The first item I'll prioritize after Gilded Greaves is the pair of Muramasa - Omni Arms. These two items provide stable skill recovery as well as armor reduction and enhanced normal attacks. This is the optimal equipment for Zuka early in the match.  Next is Frost Cape, an essential item for the lesson with its ability to provide significant physical and magic defense. This item helps maximize damage from basic attacks when critical strikes occur after each enhancement. Soulreaver/Fenrir's Tooth will be upgraded based on the chosen lane as these two items bring different benefits and advantages when used. Finally, in the equipment slot will be Aegis, a crucial survival item in the match.

Practice selling items and changing equipment in the late game to increase survival chances effectively.

Evaluation

The basic equipment build won't differ much from the full damage playstyle as they all utilize items geared towards dealing significant damage such as Muramasa, Frost Cape, or Fenrir's Tooth. However, concerning optimal damage from basic attacks, I still consider using the critical strike build for Zuka. Some notes when using this equipment build are its vulnerability when lacking defensive items.

When using this item build, it's essential to move strategically and engage in combat at the right moment to avoid taking unnecessary damage. However, this bear-cat hybrid has the ability to magically drain the life essence of enemy carries within moments if dealing damage during combat.
