How to find a bus route with the BusMap app

Here are the steps to find a bus route:

Step 1: On the BusMap home screen, click on the 'Route Finder' feature.

Step 2: You can input your starting location or enable the app to automatically determine your location (if your device supports this feature). If you can't find your desired destination, you can pin that location on the map. Moreover, for future convenience, you can save frequently visited locations, such as offices, homes, and schools. 

Choose the number of transfers by adjusting the maximum number from 1 to 3. If you want to reduce the number of transfers, you can adjust the number of transfers according to your preference.

Step 3: Customize the directions to suit personal needs.

• View directions on active routes: Enable this feature, BusMap will suggest directions based on active bus routes and automatically exclude temporarily inactive or under maintenance routes.
• Skip tourist/sightseeing routes: Enable this feature, BusMap will not suggest tourist or sightseeing bus routes (usually with higher fares).

Step 4: Click on the 'Find Route' button: The app will suggest various modes of transportation, providing detailed information about route names, number of transfers needed, fare, estimated time, departure bus stop, walking distance to the bus stop, estimated wait time, and other modes of transportation depending on the route. Choose the most suitable travel option for you and follow the instructions on the app.
