The below screenshots depict the Animoji interface on an iPad screen. Once again, affirming that Apple will soon release tablets with the TrueDepth camera system and Face ID facial recognition.
In the deployment process, the Animoji interface avoids facial scanning through the front camera, as it requires devices to be equipped with a sensor array. Clearly, this subtly confirms that Apple is laying the groundwork for code on Face ID-equipped iPads, set to be unveiled in the near future.
Previous reports and rumors suggest that an iPad with Face ID will be released this summer. Apple has not denied any rumors related to an iPad featuring Face ID.
