Essential Facts about PUBG Mobile's Team Deathmatch Mode
1. Basic Information
Team Deathmatch mode, or TDM, isn't new if you've played games like Call of Duty before. Battles take place between two teams, each competing to earn points. The first team to reach 40 points wins the match. Points are earned by eliminating opponents. We're still unsure about how many points are awarded for each kill.
2. Features
A) Automatic Health Regeneration
Automatic health regeneration is something you may have encountered in Zombie Darkest Night mode. As the name suggests, automatic health regeneration gradually restores the player's health over time until fully recovered. This is a rather intriguing feature in Team Deathmatch and requires players to devise their own winning strategies.
B) Invincibility
Everyone desires immortality and no one wants to die, a sentiment echoed in PUBG Mobile's Team Deathmatch mode. While you won't be entirely immortal, you'll respawn after being defeated by enemies. Quite akin to The War mode. In The War mode, when a player dies, you have the option to parachute anywhere on the map.
However, in Team Deathmatch, there will be a respawn point for each player. After being killed, you'll respawn at your designated respawn point. Players will be invulnerable for a few seconds after respawning. This will frustrate those waiting to eliminate you, as you can take them out upon respawning but they won't be able to harm you in the first few seconds.
C) New Team Deathmatch Map
A completely new map has been designed for PUBG Mobile's Team Deathmatch mode, named 'Warehouse'. After the PUBG Mobile 0.13.0 update, it will be the sole map available for the TDM mode. Although PUBG Mobile will release more maps for this mode in upcoming updates.
D) Resources in Team Deathmatch Map
Similar to War Mode where you spawn with guns, TDM is no different. The only distinction is that you can choose to pick up any guns or equipment you want from the Respawn area, as shown in the screenshots below.
If you're using an M416 and have died, in the next respawn, you can switch your M416 for another AKM. Additionally, in Team Deathmatch mode, there won't be any airdrops. Instead of airdrops, the M249 LMG will be placed somewhere in the center of the map.
E) Achievements and Statistics
Unlike any other mode, except for Classic Mode, where you can view statistics like K/D ratio, kill count... Similarly, in PUBG Mobile's Team Deathmatch mode, players can see statistics like their friends'. Additionally, many specific achievements of Team Deathmatch can be unlocked by completing certain missions.
Although PUBG Mobile hasn't globally released the 0.13.0 update yet, you can still enjoy the Team Deathmatch mode by installing the Beta version of the game. Judging by the features, Team Deathmatch certainly sounds fun and provides an entirely enjoyable entertainment feature for players.
