However, the issue lies in the fact that these 5G waves cannot penetrate metal surfaces, especially steel. Therefore, on the premium Pro versions, Apple has designed a small groove to facilitate the passage of these waves, ensuring stable and efficient phone usage.
Hence, we can affirm that this detail is not a design flaw but rather intentionally created by Apple, particularly for iPhones imported from the US.
Why Are iPhones with 'American' Citizenship Involved?
According to images posted on Apple's websites in the US, France, and some other markets, this detail on iPhones in France is completely absent. In simpler terms, at present, this technology seems to be still too new, not widely available, and compatible with every country worldwide.
So if you're living and working in the 'Land of the Rising Sun' and planning to own a new iPhone, don't be too surprised by this detail and remember to avoid overuse. And if you're in countries not yet supporting 5G, this detail will be entirely useless.
