Vietcombank Internet Banking (abbreviated as VCB-iB@nking) is an electronic banking service developed by Vietcombank, allowing customers to use various utilities and perform transactions provided by Vietcombank directly on their computers or phones via the web without needing to visit the bank. Instead of customers having to go to Vietcombank branches/offices, they only need to log in to their Vietcombank Internet Banking account on their computer/phone connected to the internet to perform transactions anytime.

1. Conditions for registering and using Vietcombank Internet Banking
To register for VCB-iB@nking service, you need to meet the following conditions:
- You already have a Vietcombank bank account. If not, you can follow the steps to open a Vietcombank account using your phone number or visit the bank's counter to open an account.
- Have an identity card/passport/citizen identification card

2. Steps to register for Vietcombank Internet Banking service
Currently, Vietcombank has not implemented registration for Vietcombank Internet Banking via mobile phones like many other banks, but registration can only be done at Vietcombank's transaction points/branches.
- Step 1: Locate the nearest Vietcombank branch/transaction office
- Step 2: Fill in the information on the VCB-iB@nking service registration form and submit it to the transaction staff.
- Step 3: The staff will verify and complete the registration process for you. Then, they will send an email/message to the phone number you provided with the login credentials for VCB-iB@nking service.

III. How to Use Vietcombank Internet Banking
1. Log in to VCB-iB@nking
To use Vietcombank Internet Banking, you need to log in to your VCB-iB@nking account with the username and password provided by the bank. For first-time users of VCB-iB@nking, it's recommended to change the password, register transfer limits, set up OTP methods, etc., to ensure the best security for your information.
- Step 1: Access the VCB-iB@nking page HERE
- Step 2: Enter the password and username provided by the bank. Then, press the 'Log In' button.
- Step 3: Upon successful login, the VCB-iB@nking online banking page will appear for you to perform transactions.
* Change Password
After your first login, the system will display as shown below for you to change your password. Enter your username, current password provided by the bank, then change the new password and confirm it. Finally, click 'Confirm' to update your new password.
* Set up OTP receiving method
After successfully changing your password, you need to set up the OTP receiving method to register the phone number used for receiving OTP.
-Step 1: In the 'My VCB-iB@nking' section, select 'Set up OTP receiving method'.
- Step 2: Choose the 'OTP receiving method' among the options provided by the bank.
+ Choose Smart OTP: You need to log in to the Vietcombank Smart OTP (VCB OTP) application on your phone, enter the transaction verification code for each transaction. The VCB OPT screen will display the OTP code.
+ Choose via SMS: When you register your phone number to receive OTP, the bank will send the code to the registered phone number.
+ Choose Use EMV card: You use the EMV card reader device provided by the bank, enter the transaction verification code for each transaction. The OTP code will be displayed on the device screen.
- Step 3: Click on 'Confirm' to complete the OTP setup process.
* Register Transfer Limit
After setting up the OTP receiving method, you need to select the transfer limit for your transactions.
- Step 1: Click on the 'Set Transfer Limit' section
- Step 2: Choose 'Transfer Limit' and select the OTP receiving method
- Step 3: Press the 'Confirm' button
* Declare Information
- Step 1: In the 'My VCB-iB@nking' section, select 'Personal Information' and set the appropriate language.
- Step 2: Modify, update the correct information in the required fields by the bank.
- Step 3: Click on 'Save Information' to save and update your information.
2. Log out of VCB-iB@nking
After you log in and perform necessary transactions, it's advisable to log out of your account to ensure security. In the 'My VCB-iB@nking' section, select 'Log out' or you can click on the icon in the top right corner, below the horizontal menu bar.
3. Transfer money within and outside Vietcombank system
* Transferring within the system
- Step 1: On the horizontal menu bar, click on 'Transfer Money', then select 'Transfer to Recipient at Vietcombank' or click on 'Transfer to Recipient at Vietcombank' in the 'Quick Access' section at the bottom left corner as shown in the image.
- Step 2: Create a transfer order. Fill in all required fields, including:
+ Sender's information
+ Recipient's information
+ Transaction details: amount, transfer description
Then, click on 'Confirm' to proceed with the transaction.
-Step 3: You select to check if the OTP receiving method is correct. Then, click on 'Confirm'.
- Step 4: Confirm the payment by entering the OTP code provided by the bank. Then, select 'Confirm'.
* Transfer outside Vietcombank system
- Step 1: In the 'transfer money' section on the horizontal menu bar or in the 'Quick access' section at the bottom right corner of the screen, select 'Transfer to recipients at other banks'
- The following steps are similar to transferring within the Vietcombank system.
4. Paying for service bills
-Step 1: In the 'Payment' section on the horizontal menu, select 'Pay bills'.
- Step 2: Create a payment order by providing complete information for the following fields:
+ Source account
+ Transaction details
Then select 'Confirm'
- Step 3: Confirm the transaction. The system will send the amount you need to pay. Besides, you need to verify the transaction and choose the OTP receiving method. Then press the 'confirm' button
- Step 4: Enter the OTP code. Then select 'Confirm'
5. Open Online Savings Account
- Step 1: In the 'Online Savings' section in the horizontal menu, select 'Open Account'.
- Step 2: Create a payment order by filling in the following fields:
+ Source account
+ Transaction details
Then press the 'Confirm' button.
- Step 3: Verify the transaction information, then select 'OTP Input Method'. Press the 'Confirm' button.
- Step 4: Enter the OTP code, then select the 'Confirm' button.
III. Common Issues with Vietcombank Internet Banking
1. Forgot Vietcombank Internet Banking username, how to retrieve it?
When registering for VCB-iB@nking, you will be provided with a username at the counter, and the login password will be sent to your registered email. This username is provided once, so if you have trouble remembering it, you should memorize it or take notes somewhere. In case of forgetting, to retrieve the Vietcombank Internet Banking username, you should bring your ID card/identity card/passport to the branch/transaction office to request a reissue from the staff. Reissuing this password is completely free.
2. What is the maximum amount Vietcombank Internet Banking can transfer?
