Handling messages from Pages, Messenger, and Instagram is a complex task as it requires using three different apps. This is especially challenging for businesses that need to respond to and support customers promptly. However, you won't have to worry about that anymore.
Facebook is set to merge messages from Pages, Messenger, and Instagram into a single inbox, making it easy for you to manage messages from all three apps with just one tool: Pages Manager
Facebook Pages, Messenger, and Instagram are set to have a shared inbox
The new feature will enable users, especially businesses, to respond to customer messages across all three channels—Pages, Messenger, and Instagram—more efficiently, providing better customer support. Additionally, managing and cross-referencing these messages becomes much more convenient.
To access the shared inbox, you need to install the app.
Download Pages Manager for iOS devices: Facebook Pages Manager for iPhone
Download Pages Manager for Android devices: Facebook Pages Manager for Android
Open Pages Manager and tap on the message icon in the bottom menu bar of the app.
In the Inbox section, you'll find tabs with icons for Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram. Tap on each tab to view messages sent through those apps. For Instagram, you'll need to log in to connect to the app's inbox.
In addition to messages, the Facebook tab includes comments, guest posts, and page reviews. The app also displays basic profile information of those messaging you and your page.
For users conducting business on Facebook or building their brand through this platform, the shared inbox feature will be incredibly valuable. The feature will be updated on the Pages Manager app for Android and iOS. Versions for other devices will be added in the near future.
Mytour has recently introduced a new feature - the shared inbox for Facebook Messenger, Pages, and Instagram - along with how to access this inbox. This feature will speed up your responses across the three channels: Pages, Messenger, and Instagram, making the management and cross-referencing of these messages more convenient.
If you use Facebook Messenger, you might want to disable message notifications on Android or explore how to hide your Facebook profile when you want to concentrate and avoid disturbances.
