The first time the Dalat Flower Festival was organized was in 2005 (from December 10th to December 18th, 2005). On this occasion, Dalat welcomed approximately 80 thousand visitors to sightsee and stay, with elaborate stages set up on Lake Xuân Hương. The performance of over 160 types of floral vehicles including: 10 large floral floats, 35 vintage cars, besides the eye-catching 2-seater flower bicycles, there were also 4-seater and 6-seater flower bicycles, 30 vintage Vespa scooters adorned with flowers,... turned the whole city into a colorful spectacle, like a vibrant tapestry.
That night, people listened to famous mythical stories of Dalat such as: The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, the Legend of Langbiang, the legend of Lake of Sighs, the legend of the rose,... The symbol of this festival was a golden bee holding a watering can to sprinkle flowers.
The 2nd Dalat Flower Festival (December 15th – December 22nd, 2007)
Building on the successful achievements, in 2007 (December 15th – December 22nd, 2007), the Dalat Flower Festival left a profound impression with surprising records. The event themed “Integration and Development of the Dalat Flower Brand” attracted more than 70 domestic enterprises and representatives from many countries around the world: the Netherlands, China, Japan, Thailand,...
With the skilled and creative hands of artisans and the people of Dalat, 8 new records were set: The longest wedding dress in Vietnam (42m long); the longest wedding photo in Vietnam, the largest flower car convoy in Vietnam (consisting of 40 7-seater Innovas); the largest Long Phụng wedding lantern pair in Vietnam (each lantern measuring 3.7m in height, weighing 2.7 tons); the most signed love stone in Vietnam; the largest wooden wine barrel in Vietnam.
The second Dalat Flower Festival concluded, attracting 160,000 domestic and international visitors.

The largest double happiness tea box in Vietnam (with a diameter of 1.99m, height of 3.6m, weighing 120kg). It took 10 craftsmen 2 months to complete the two tea boxes. The tea boxes are pink, with the words 'Double Happiness' and 'Hundred Years of Happiness' printed on them; the parade featured the most Santa Clauses in Vietnam.
Alongside the stunning floral beauty and numerous records, the continuous activities brought moments of joy and relaxation for many tourists.
The 3rd Dalat Flower Festival (January 01st – January 04th, 2010)
In homage to our beloved homeland, commemorating 1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi, the 3rd Dalat Flower Festival was held during the New Year holidays (from January 01st to January 04th, 2010). The continuous floral pathways throughout the city featured highlights such as a 3,500m2 flower carpet and the Bich Cau flower archipelago. Dalat welcomed three new records during this flower festival: the largest pair of floral dragons (108m long, 3m tall), a gigantic flower vase themed 'Ho Guom' created by 1000 local residents, and the Quan Am Bodhisattva statue made up of over 600 thousand immortal flowers with a height of about 18m placed at Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Particularly, during this occasion, Dalat had the honor of receiving the Prime Minister's decision to recognize it as the first Flower Festival city in Vietnam.

The 3rd Dalat Flower Festival attracted 300,000 visitors and accommodated 185,000 guests.
The 4th Dalat Flower Festival (December 30th – January 3rd, 2012)
The 2012 Dalat Flower Festival themed “Dalat, the Flower Festival City”. Nearly 20 exciting programs will take place during the 4 days of this 4th festival edition.
Key activities during the Festival include: flower exhibitions, international flower displays, flower market – Dalat culinary festival, floral street parade, street festival “Flowers and Lights”, wine night, scientific symposium on flowers...
The captivating “beautiful floral space” attracted a large number of tourists for admiration. Here, there are 4 large floral carpets, street flowers symbolizing the 4 seasons of the year, and 12 miniature scenes representing the 12 months. The most remarkable highlight must be the display of 200,000 assorted tulip baskets, which is truly eye-catching.
In addition, the street festival “Flowers and Lights” took place around the Hoa Binh area, all meticulously prepared with a combination of 3 elements: light, street art, and floral decorations.
The 2012 Dalat Flower Festival concluded, attracting 170,000 domestic and international tourists.
The 5th Dalat Flower Festival (December 28th, 2013 – January 2nd, 2014)
The 5th Dalat Flower Festival took place with many outstanding and enticing activities under the theme “Central Highlands - Echoes of the Great Forest”. This was a national and international-scale event as part of the Vietnam Tourism Culture Week 2013, including the 1st UNESCO Heritage Festival Vietnam - ASEAN, the announcement of the 2014 National Tourism Year for the Central Highlands - Dalat, commemorating 120 years of Dalat's formation and development, and the 5th Dalat Flower Festival.

During the tourism week from December 27th to January 1st, 2014, the entire Lam Dong province attracted 200,000 domestic and international visitors.
The 6th Dalat Flower Festival (December 29th, 2015 – January 2nd, 2016)
The 6th Dalat Flower Festival took place from (December 29th, 2015 - January 2nd, 2016). This year, the festival featured various programs and activities such as: Flower exhibitions, displays, floral spaces, ornamental plants; Dalat Flower Carnival; flower market; scientific symposium on flowers; wine, tea, and coffee streets of Lam Dong; calligraphy and floral painting spaces, photography; Floral spaces in residential areas; trade fairs and promotion of Lam Dong tourism; Sunday Flower Day...
