Audiences are in for a refreshing summer treat with the highly anticipated animated feature Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (original title: Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken). The next project from DreamWorks in partnership with Universal will take viewers beneath the waves, following the coming-of-age journey of an adorable teenage kraken with a special destiny - Ruby Gillman. With an introverted nature and social anxieties, Ruby navigates the challenges of fitting in with her peers and accepting herself.
However, all her efforts quickly unravel with the arrival of Chelsea Van Der Zee - a stunning red-haired mermaid who quickly captures everyone's attention. Chelsea is, in fact, a malicious sea nymph who has often bullied Ruby Gillman. Recognizing the malevolence within the mermaid clique, Ruby Gillman strives to embrace her true self, reclaim her role as an ocean guardian, and join her lineage in defeating evil to become a hero. Vietnamese-American actress Lana Condor will voice Ruby Gillman, collaborating with a stellar cast including Toni Collette, Sam Richardson, Colman Domingo, to embark on a new oceanic adventure on the silver screen.

Trolls Band Together will follow Branch and Poppy's journey to reunite their once-chart-topping band, especially when one of the members, Floyd, also Branch's brother, is kidnapped by villains. Like its predecessors, Trolls 3 will be filled with music and color, promising to be the end-of-year craze in theaters. The film is scheduled for release on November 17, 2023.
Kung Fu Panda 4: The Legend Continues
The latest installment featuring the martial arts-savvy panda Kung Fu Panda hit screens six years ago, so news of Kung Fu Panda's return to the big screen has fans buzzing with excitement. At the recent Comic Con event held in April, the film's team teased some details about the upcoming fourth installment. In this return to the big screen, the panda Po will set out to find his own successor, possibly inheriting the role of the Dragon Warrior.
In Kung Fu Panda 4, Po will face off against a new villain named Thistle Flower, who possesses mysterious powers and can summon back Po's old adversaries. Jack Black will return to voice the main character, alongside a talented original Asian cast including Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, James Hong… and the iconic Angelina Jolie. The film is scheduled for release on March 8, 2024.
Despicable Me 4: Family Reunion
The billion-dollar success of Minions: The Rise of Gru has fueled the return of the Despicable Me franchise with its fourth installment. The Gru family will grace the screen again after 7 years since the explosion of the third movie. All the original voice actors, including Steve Carell as Gru, are returning to delight the eagerly awaiting fans.
Currently, there is no official information regarding the plot of Despicable Me 4, but it's sure to pick up right after the events of the third installment.
