Recent additions to the feature roadmap were made by Microsoft last week, with the promise of availability for iOS users later this month. However, with just a few days left until May, it remains uncertain whether the feature will debut this week or if unexpected changes from Microsoft are in store.

Currently, the Office for iOS app only allows users to listen to documents on their phones when the device screen is unlocked. In case of a locked screen, the app will automatically pause the playback.

In other news, Microsoft recently introduced advanced Teams applications within Office.com and Outlook, currently available in Preview. Additionally, the company will provide similar applications for the Office for Windows app.
