Automatically unlock screen rotation on iPhone when entering specific apps, it's super simple! Have you known about it yet?
Although toggling screen rotation lock isn't difficult and can be done from the Control Center, you need to remember to unlock before using an app and lock it back afterward. This sometimes leads to inconvenience. So why not set up Shortcuts to help us automatically?
Requirements:You should download the app
Shortcutsand upgrade your operating system to .5 to use this feature!
Go to the Automation tab in Shortcuts and select “Create Personal Automation” or tap the + icon in the corner to add a new automation shortcut.

Scroll down and tap on “Apps” then select the names of the apps you want to set Shortcuts for locking/unlocking screen rotation. Here, I'll use Safari as an example. Tap Done to proceed to the next step.

Click on both options “When Opened” and “When Closed”. Select Next in the corner.

You need to add detailed commands at this step. Tap “Add Action” then type Rotate to select the command “Set Orientation Lock”.

Turn off the “Ask Before Running” mode so that Shortcuts can run automatically without your permission each time. Finally, press Done to complete the setup.

Here's the result after setup! You can see that the screen rotation lock mode remains enabled until I open the Safari app. At that point, the lock is automatically disabled.

Conclusion:
Thus, the Shortcuts app has automated the process of locking and unlocking screen rotation on iPhone for a specific app. You won't need to remember or perform any additional actions each time you open this app.
