Recently, with just a Battle Net registration and owning an account, you can play Starcraft 2 legally for free. Players can dive into the complete Campaign to explore the game's storyline with all features, while the DEMO version only allows playing the first few missions.
How to Play Licensed Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty for Free on PC
Step 1: First, make sure your computer has Battle Net installed. If not, check out the Battle Net installation guide here.
Step 2: Log in to Battle Net with your account.
Step 3: After logging into Battle Net, select Starcraft 2 and click on Try for Free.
Step 4: In this step, you can change the in-game path. It's recommended to set it to drive D as the game requires approximately 30GB of free space. After selecting, press Start Install to begin the download.
Step 5: Once the game is downloaded, click Play, and you're ready to delve into the world of playing Starcraft 2 for free.
