Fold Your MacBook Screen Without Turning Off the Machine
Step 1: Navigate to the battery settings by accessing System Preferences > Battery.
Step 2: Go to the Power Adapter tab, then select Prevent your Mac from automatically sleeping when the display is off.
Step 3: In the pop-up window, click OK.

Note: If you intend to fold and use the device while screen mirroring to an external device, ensure the device is always plugged in.
