1. Deactivate Bio function on your Samsung phone
Many users still complain about the fingerprint sensor not being responsive and feeling inaccurate. You can try one of the following methods or perform all of them together to improve the sensitivity of the fingerprint sensor on your device.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your phone > Scroll and select Apps > Tap on the three-dot button at the top right corner > Choose Show system apps.
Step 2: After opening all system apps > Tap on the search button at the top > Type in the character 'Bio' > Select the app displayed below.
Step 3: In the Bio app interface > Select the Pin line > Choose Optimize battery usage.
Step 4: In the Optimize battery usage section > Tap on the search icon > Type Bio > Turn off Bio
Note: This step and step 2 are completely different. If you only search for Bio from the Settings app interface, it will not display like step 4 and you cannot turn off Bio.
2. Increase touch sensitivity for faster fingerprint recognition
Open the Settings app > Select Display > Scroll down to Touch sensitivity line > Turn on.
3. Configure and disable some actions in Biometrics and Security
- Turn off dynamic image display when unlocking.
Step 1: Open Settings > Select Biometrics and Security > Choose Fingerprint.
Step 2: In the Fingerprint interface, under the Display dynamic image when unlocking section > Turn off.
- Turn off screen transition effects.
Also in the Biometrics and Security section > Choose Biometric options > Turn off Screen transition effects.
