1. Duplicate Applications and Software Using Start Menu.
For example, if you're using Google Chrome and you want to open multiple instances of Google Chrome, simply duplicate them using the Start Menu!
Step 1: In the Windows Search bar of the Start Menu, type in the keyword of the application you want to duplicate. Here, I'll just type in google chrome!
Step 2: The application you're looking for will appear below, click
2. Utilize the Ctrl + N shortcut
Some software may support this method while others may not, so be aware!
Taking Google Chrome as an example, when you're on the Google Chrome interface, press the Ctrl + N key combination to instantly open a new Google Chrome browser.
3. Utilize the Taskbar
Suppose you're using Google Chrome and want to duplicate it without using the two methods above. Then try the method with the Taskbar right below!
Step 1: Right-click on the application in use, here I'm using Google Chrome so I'll right-click on it!
Step 2: Click on the line with the icon and the name of the application you want to duplicate. The system on your computer or laptop will automatically create another new duplicate application.
4. Use the Shift + Windows + Application number combination
To use this method, you need to first pin your application to the Taskbar!
Identify the application you want to duplicate, located at which position counting from left to right on the Taskbar. Then press the shortcut combination Shift + Windows + Application number.
