You often share your computer with friends or family, but there are certain videos you'd rather keep private. Enter Video Padlock, your go-to software for encrypting and safeguarding videos on your computer. Using the robust ARC4 128-bit encryption algorithm, Video Padlock ensures top-notch security for your sensitive videos.
Here's how you can encrypt and secure your videos with Video Padlock:
Step 1: Download Video Padlock from http://applian.com/video-padlock/download and install it on your system.
Step 2: Once installation is complete, launch Video Padlock. The first interface you'll encounter is 'Enter New Password.' Set your desired password in the 'Password' field, re-enter it in the 'Re-type Password' field, and click 'OK' to access the main interface of Video Padlock.
Note: Remember this password as it's required to log in to Video Padlock.

Step 3: On the main interface of the program, to encrypt and secure a video, click on the white lock icon on a red background ('Lock or encrypt a file') and navigate to the video you wish to secure. Video Padlock supports various video formats such as flv, mpg, mpeg, wmv, avi, mov, mp4, and more.

Once you've selected the video for encryption, Video Padlock will automatically proceed with the encryption process.

Videos encrypted with Video Padlock will have the .lck extension and cannot be opened.

Step 4: To unlock an encrypted video, select it from the Encrypted Files section of Video Padlock and click on the green unlock icon ('Unlock or decrypt a file from the Video Padlock list'). The program will automatically unlock the video for you.

Step 5: Additional customization settings:
- Viewing videos in Video Padlock: To watch a video, select it from the video list and click the Play icon.

- To delete a video, select the video and click on the trash can icon.

- Click on the gear icon to open the Settings dialog:

Here, you can change the encryption method under Encryption Method: Full encryption or Partial Encryption.

To change the password for the Video Padlock program (the password created in step 2), click on Change Password.
