Setting up Private mode on the Samsung Galaxy S5 is relatively straightforward. You can access it from the Quick settings menu in the notification panel by swiping down from the top of the screen. When Quick settings

You'll encounter a quick summary of this mode's functionalities, along with a reminder to set up the unlocking method for future access to Private mode. You can utilize a PIN, password, swipe pattern, and, of course, fingerprint recognition, thanks to the newly found scanner on the Home button. Select Start to proceed.

Next, the Galaxy S5 will prompt you to establish a security password in four formats: pattern, PIN, fingerprint, or alphanumeric.
Upon accessing Private mode, you can transfer files you wish to protect to corresponding folders such as Gallery, Video, Music, My Files, or Voice Recorder. The only limitation is that you cannot select images for fullscreen viewing; you can only choose when the image files are in album format as thumbnails.
Therefore, when accessing the photo album, tap on the thumbnail of the image you want to transfer to private mode (video, song, voice recording, and document). You can select multiple files at once. After selecting, tap the menu button at the top right corner (three white dots).
In the dropdown menu, select “move to Private’’ to move images (videos, songs, voice recordings, and documents) to the corresponding folders in private mode. You can also choose to move back to other folders.
When you've finished and want to exit Private mode, simply swipe down the notification panel and tap on the enabled Private mode. This action will deactivate the personal mode, closing any open content.
Now you can rest assured that any files you want to keep private will be securely protected, even if someone tries to access your phone or it gets stolen. They won't be able to access your important data.
